Step 1
First steam medium to large 2 corn cob in pressure cooker. Cook them for 3 to 4 whistles with 2 cups of water
Step 2
Carefully remove the corn kernels from the cooked cob with a sharp knife.
Step 3
Now heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds...allow them to splutter .add..green cardamom , bay leaf and cloves...
Step 4
Add punch of asophoetida andcurry leaves and green chillies ....saute it for 2 seconds now add onions and saute it till they become pink
Step 5
Now add ginger garlic paste and saute it for another 10 seconds...add turmeric powder, red chilli powder , and salt as per taste
Step 6
Add sweet corn at this point and cook it for 3 minutes
Step 7
Now we will give smoky flavour to our corn ..for that we need small piece of coal...now place the hot coal inside the cup and put that cup in a pan of sweet corn..... Pour a spoon of ghee on the coal. It will begin to smoke. Immediately cover the pan and reduce the heat to low and allow it to rest for about a minute.
Step 8
After 5 minutes we find that it has given good smoky flavour to our corn..
Step 9
Now take a cup of curd and put 3 tsp gram flour in it whisk it properly and add 2 glass of water in that and salt as required....be careful while adding salt because we have already added salt in corn mix
Step 10
Now pour that mixture in a pan of sweet corn mix....and stir it continuously..untill it gets boil otherwise our curry will get spoiled...after a boil comes.... cook it for 2 minutes check the cosistency and add water accordingly....
Step 11
Our corn curry is ready....garnish it with coriander leaves and seve hot with roti or rice
