Strawberry Banana Oatmeal

A delightful and nutritious breakfast option featuring steel-cut oats cooked to perfection with milk, topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, almonds, and a hint of cinnamon and honey.

Ingredients

  • 8 units Strawberries (Chopped)
  • 1 unit Banana (Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Milk, 2%
  • 1 cup Steel Cut Oats
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Almonds (Sliced or chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  2. 2Add 1 cup of steel-cut oats and a pinch of salt to the boiling liquid. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats reach the desired consistency.
  3. 3Once cooked, divide the oatmeal evenly into two serving bowls.
  4. 4Top each bowl with chopped strawberries, chopped bananas, sliced or chopped almonds, and a dollop of peanut butter.
  5. 5Sprinkle cinnamon powder over the oatmeal and drizzle with honey before serving.
