Tender Coconut Pudding
A special pudding made with delicious tender coconut, offering a delightful taste of Kerala.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Tender Coconut Water
- 10 grams China Grass (Agar-Agar)
- 2 cups Whole Milk
- 0.5 cup Condensed Milk
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 10 units Almonds (For decoration)
- 2 tablespoons Sugar Balls (For decoration)
- 5 units Chocolate Balls (For decoration)
Instructions
- 1Soak the china grass in half a cup (100 ml) of water and set aside.
- 2In a blender, combine 2 cups of tender coconut water and coconut pulp. Blend until a fine paste is achieved. Set aside.
- 3Place a pan over medium heat. Add 2 cups of whole milk, condensed milk, and sugar. Stir continuously.
- 4Add the coconut paste to the milk mixture and mix thoroughly.
- 5In another pan, add the soaked china grass with a little water. Melt completely over low heat.
- 6Immediately transfer the melted china grass to the milk and coconut mixture. Mix well.
- 7Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a pudding tray. Allow it to cool, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- 8Decorate the pudding with sugar balls, chocolate balls, and almonds. Serve and enjoy the delicious Kerala dessert.
