Kurumulagitta Chicken/Pepper Chicken
This chicken curry with a taste of pepper is really worth a try!
Ingredients
- 1000 gms Chicken
- 3 unit/count Onions (Medium sized onion, finely chopped)
- 2 unit/count Tomatoes (Medium sized tomatoes, finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Ginger (Finely crushed ginger)
- 1 tbsp Garlic cloves (Finely crushed garlic)
- 3 unit/count Green chillies (Finely crushed green chillies)
- 2 tsp Salt (Salt is added according to your taste)
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1.5 tbsp Black crushed pepper
- 3.5 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 handful Coriander leaves

Instructions
- 1In a pan over medium heat, add coconut oil. Once heated, add the onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, green chillies, and salt. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
- 2Add the turmeric powder, coriander leaves, and black crushed pepper to the pan. Mix thoroughly to combine the flavors.
- 3Add the cleaned chicken pieces to the pan. Stir well to coat the chicken with the onion masala.
- 4Cook the chicken on medium heat for 20 minutes until fully cooked. Serve hot with rice or chapati. If using a pressure cooker, cook for 3 whistles.
