A healthy, thicker version of ayurvedic gruel.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Short-grain rice
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 pinch Black crushed pepper
  • 3 units Fenugreek seeds

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the short-grain rice and fenugreek seeds. Cook until the rice is very soft and begins to lose its shape.
  2. 2Stir in the salt and a pinch of black crushed pepper. Mix well to combine the flavors.
