Manda
The filtered portion of rice. Very light to digest.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Short-grain rice
- 14 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds

Instructions
- 1In a large pot, combine the short-grain rice, cumin seeds, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer until the rice is fully cooked.
- 2Once the rice is cooked, carefully strain the liquid from the rice using a fine mesh strainer. The strained liquid is known as manda.
