Aprosa Looqa (Fish Curry with Coconut Milk)

Ingredients
- 500 grams Fish (You can choose any fish. Bigger fish tastes better.)
- 1 unit Coconut, grated (Either grind it in a wet grinder or using a mixer make a fine paste.)
- 1 unit Onions, finely chopped (Small onion finely chopped.)
- 1 unit Tomatoes, finely chopped (Finely chopped.)
- 4.5 units Curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 3 teaspoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt (As per your need.)
- 1 inch Tamarind, raw
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder

Instructions
- 1Grind the grated coconut using a wet grinder or a mixer grinder to make a fine paste. Use a thin muslin cloth or a strainer to filter it and extract the coconut milk.
- 2In a kadai or vessel, heat oil and add curry leaves, mustard seeds, and cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until slightly golden. Then add the chopped tomato and cook until soft and pulpy.
- 3Add salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder to the mixture. Pour in the coconut milk and stir continuously until it reaches a boil.
- 4Add the washed and cut fish to the boiling curry. Add a small piece of tamarind. Stir gently to avoid breaking the fish.
- 5Once the fish is cooked, garnish the curry with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
