Ajwain Decoction

A decoction of ajwain and cumin seeds to aid digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain (Also known as carom seeds)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Also known as jeera)
  • 3 cups Water

Instructions

  1. 1In a pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
  2. 2Add ajwain and cumin seeds to the boiling water. Continue to boil until the liquid is reduced to half its original volume, approximately 1.5 cups.
  3. 3Strain the decoction and consume it 3 to 4 times a day, with intervals of 3 to 4 hours between servings.
