Rava Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava
- 1 cup Rice flour
- 0.5 cup Maida
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pinch Black crushed pepper
- 1 pinch Cumin powder
- 0.25 inch Ginger (Grated)
- 1 pinch Asafetida
- 2 cups Water
- 0.5 cup Oil (For applying on tava & to pour on the sides of dosa)
Instructions
- 1Combine rava, rice flour, maida, salt, black crushed pepper, cumin powder, ginger, and asafetida in a mixing bowl. Gradually add water, stirring continuously, until a thin, watery batter is achieved.
- 2Heat a dosa pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Using your hand, scoop the watery batter and sprinkle it onto the pan, ensuring it forms a thin layer with holes. Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side to your desired crispness.
- 3Remove the dosa from the pan and serve hot. It pairs well with white vattana curry or coriander chutney.
