Strawberry Mousse
A simple and fresh 3 ingredient dessert for any occasion 😊
Ingredients
- 3 lb Strawberries (For puree and topping)
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- 0.25 cup Whipped cream for topping
- 4 unit/count Strawberries for topping
Instructions
- 1Clean and slice the strawberries into small pieces.
- 2Add the strawberry slices and sugar to a blender and purée until smooth. Reserve 1/2 cup of the purée.
- 3In a chilled bowl, beat the whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
- 4Gently fold half of the strawberry purée into the whipped cream.
- 5Divide the reserved 1/2 cup of purée among 4 serving bowls or cups.
- 6Top the purée in each bowl with the strawberry mousse. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to set.
- 7For the topping, use the remaining whipped cream and place a carved strawberry rose on top for decoration.
