Strawberry Mousse

A simple and fresh 3 ingredient dessert for any occasion 😊

Ingredients

  • 3 lb Strawberries (For puree and topping)
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 0.25 cup Whipped cream for topping
  • 4 unit/count Strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. 1Clean and slice the strawberries into small pieces.
  2. 2Add the strawberry slices and sugar to a blender and purée until smooth. Reserve 1/2 cup of the purée.
  3. 3In a chilled bowl, beat the whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. 4Gently fold half of the strawberry purée into the whipped cream.
  5. 5Divide the reserved 1/2 cup of purée among 4 serving bowls or cups.
  6. 6Top the purée in each bowl with the strawberry mousse. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to set.
  7. 7For the topping, use the remaining whipped cream and place a carved strawberry rose on top for decoration.
