Step 1
Clean Brinjal and Onions in water. Cut both of them lengthwise. Marinate it with salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
Keep aside for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Heat oil in a Kadai. Add the marinated ingredients to the pan. Cook on a low flame for 20-25 minutes keeping the lid closed. Saute well at regular intervals. Brinjal and Onion needs to get cooked well in the oil.
Serve hot with Roti.
