Step 1
Take a shallow wide bowl and beat the eggs along with milk, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, crushed pepper, chopped onions, chopped green chili and cilantro.
Step 2
Heat the butter in a non stick pan. While the pan is heating, dip a slice of bread in the egg milk mixture making sure that it is completely soaked.
Step 3
Now place the soaked bread onto the pan an let it cook well on a medium flame. Then flip to cook the other side.
Step 4
Once both sides are golden brown in color, take it off the pan and repeat the same steps with the 2nd slice of bread.
Step 5
You can serve this savory version of french toast with a side of ketchup.
