Step 1
Cut cabbage into small pieces. You can use a food processor if you want.
Step 2
Set IP to saute mode. Add coconut oil. When hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and chana dal and saute till the chana dal changes color . Add hing, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute till green chillies look done.
Step 3
Add chopped onion to this and saute till onions turn transparent. This should take a couple of minutes. Add ginger. Saute for a minute or two.
Step 4
Add chopped cabbage to this. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt (dont forget salt). Mix it well and saute for a few minutes.
Step 5
Set IP to steam mode and set seal to venting (do not forget to keep it in venting, this step is critical) . Set it to 17 minutes and let it cook. Garnish with coriander and shredded coconut.
