Step 1
Add everything in the main section to an instant pot. Set it on manual mode on high pressure for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Add everything in the 'For Grating' section in a mixie grinder. Add a little water and grind it to a fine paste
Step 3
Once the moong is done, add it to a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the grinded fine paste from above to it and bring it a nice boil. The raw smell of the coconut should have gone by now.
Step 4
For tempering, heat coconut oil in a pan and add onions to it. Saute for a while and then add curry leaves to it. Fry till onions are slightly brown.
Step 5
Add tempering to the boiled moong and coconut mixture. Enjoy with puttu, rice or chapati.
