Step 1
Wash and soak 2 cups of parboiled rice for 5-6 hours.
Step 2
now take a blender.add the soaked rice into it. Then add grated coconut,shallots and fennel seeds.pour some water and grind it to make a thick batter.
Step 3
transfer this batter into a mixing bowl.adjust the salt.then add rice powder little by little and make it a very thick dough.
Step 4
now grease your palm with oil.make small coin shaped dumplings and place it in a greased tray.like this make all pathiries.
Step 5
now get ready with your steamer.steam the pathiries for 25-30 minutes.later,turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
Step 6
Next we will make chicken masala.for that,take a pan on medium flame.add coconut oil,chopped onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste,Corrionder leaves and salt.saute well.
Step 7
then add turmeric powder,Corrionder powder,garam masala,black pepper powder and the boneless chicken into it.mix well.adjust the salt and cook it for 15-20 minutes.
Our masala is also ready.
Step 8
Finally transfer the pathiries into this chicken masala and mix well.delicious kunji pathal is ready to Enjoy!!
