papad ki sabzi (papad curry)
This is the simplest and easiest form of curry available to make when you have uninvited guests coming over on short notice.

Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan.
Step 2
Put cumin seeds in it and let it crackle. Turn off the stove for a minute and let it cool down a bit.
Step 3
Add all the masala powders one by one, including salt.
Step 4
Add water to the mixture and turn on the stove now.
Step 5
After bringing the water to a boil, add the papad pieces.
Step 6
Allow it to cook for 2 minutes on medium heat before turning off the stove.
Step 7
The Papad curry is ready to serve.
