Step 1
Boil the Guar fali for one whistle in a cooker and drain the water.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds; cook until they crackle.
Step 3
Add the boiled guar fali, and stir it well. Add salt to taste.
Step 4
One by one add each masala powder and saute for about a minute.
Step 5
Cover the lid to let the flavours blend.
Step 6
Serve it well with any type of chapatis.

Guar fali with potatoes can be a further option.
