surmai fish fry
Hi all, today's recipe is a non-veg recipe i.e. Surmai fish fry or Seer fish fry. I always used to fry fish with a lengthy procedure. My sister-in-law taught me fish frying in a simple way with very few ingredients. So credit of this recipe goes to my sister-in-law. I would like to mention her name here. I call her Ramedthi. In malayalam edthi means sister. So thanks to her. Let me start now.

Step 1
Wash fish & drain the water. After water is completely drained out mix salt & red chilly powder & apply on fish & keep it aside for 20 minutes. Pour oil in a tava & deep fry the fish. It will take around 20 minutes to fry the fish. While frying the fish I like the fish to be completely immersed in oil. After the fish is fried drain the oil from it.
Step 2
Surmai fish is ready to be served with rice & curry. So you see this fish fry is prepared with very few ingredients. Hope this recipe makes your work easy. Bye will be back soon.
