I am always told that my chapatis come out well. It is my daughter's suggestion to put up this recipe. Hope my recipe helps all of you in making excellent chapatis.

Step 1
First mix wheat flour, salt & oil well into a smooth powder. Next add warm water & mix & knead the dough for 5 minutes into a soft & smooth dough.
Step 2
Make 6 small balls & roll the dough on a rolling board with a roller into thin flat disc shaped dough.
Step 3
Keep flat pan on gas & put the flat disc shaped dough on to the pan & heat it on medium flame. Take a spatula & turn it over & heat the other side for a second & then keep the gas on high flame & heat both the sides of the disc till it is cooked evenly on both sides. Now remove it from the tava & put it on a serving plate. Chapatis are ready to be served with curry. Continue making the rest of the balls into chapatis. Serve hot. 6 medium size chapatis can be made with one cup of dough.
