Ingredients
- 6 large Eggs (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1Hard boil the eggs. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut each in half lengthwise.
- 2Remove the yolks from the egg whites and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with the back of a spoon. Add the melted butter, mustard, salt, and cayenne pepper to the yolks. Rub these ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
- 3Make small balls of the yolk mixture, approximately the size of the original yolks. Fit one ball of the yolk mixture into each egg white half.
