GREEN TREE LAYER CAKE AND ICING

Ingredients
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3 count Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
- 2Break the eggs into the creamed butter and sugar mixture. Beat until well combined and very creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 3Add the flour and milk alternately to the batter, beginning and ending with flour. Reserve a small amount of flour to add after the vanilla extract and baking powder. Mix until just combined.

- 5Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the batter into prepared layer cake tins. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
