- 2In a clean, dry mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Slowly pour the hot sugar syrup into the egg whites while continuing to beat on medium speed. Add the nuts and continue to beat until the mixture is cool and thick, about 5-10 minutes.
- 3Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let it cool completely until set. Once set, cut into squares.
