ALMOND PUDDING

This classic Almond Pudding recipe offers a comforting and elegant dessert experience, perfect for special occasions or a cozy evening. Ingredients

  • 4 units Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Grated almonds (Or grated walnuts.)
  • 1/2 cup Grated white bread crumbs
  • 4 units Egg whites

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until very light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2Add the grated almonds (or walnuts) and bread crumbs to the egg yolk mixture. Stir to combine.
  3. 3In a separate clean bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the almond mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. 4Pour the mixture into a pudding mold or heat-safe bowl. Steam the pudding for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Check the water level in the steamer periodically and add more water if needed.
  5. 5Serve warm with wine or fruit sauce.
