A traditional method for cleaning and removing stains from marble surfaces using a homemade cleaning paste made from common household ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 parts (approximately 2 tablespoons) Baking soda (common soda), sifted (Use common baking soda; sift through a fine sieve)
- 1 part (approximately 1 tablespoon) Pumice stone, finely powdered (Must be finely powdered and sifted)
- 1 part (approximately 1 tablespoon) Chalk, finely powdered (Must be finely powdered and sifted)
- 0 as needed Water (Enough to make a paste)
- 0 as needed Soap (For final washing)

Instructions

- 2Add water gradually to the sifted powder mixture, stirring until you achieve a paste-like consistency that can be easily spread.
- 3Rub the paste well all over the marble surface, working it into any stained areas. Continue rubbing until the stains are removed.
- 4Wash the marble thoroughly with soap and water to remove all traces of the cleaning paste. Rinse well and dry with a clean cloth. The marble will be perfectly clean.
