Relief for Leg Cramps

A simple stretching technique to stop leg cramps quickly once they begin. This method works by counteracting the muscle contraction that causes the cramp.

Instructions

  1. 1When a cramp begins in your leg, immediately straighten your leg out in front of you
  2. 2Push your heel out as far as possible, extending it away from your body
  3. 3Pull your toes up toward your shin as far as possible, creating a strong stretch in your calf muscle
  4. 4Maintain this position with heel stretched out and toes pulled up until the cramp subsides, typically 15-30 seconds
