Instructions
- 1Clean and dry the broken edges of the glass or china thoroughly. Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, grease, or debris for optimal adhesion.
- 2Using a small brush or your finger, rub the white of the egg onto the edges of both pieces that need to be joined. Apply a thin, even coat to ensure good coverage.
- 3Immediately dust the slaked lime powder over the egg white-coated edges. Ensure the lime covers all the egg white areas evenly.
- 4Press the broken pieces together firmly, aligning them carefully. Hold the pieces together steadily until they begin to stick and feel secure, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- 5Place the mended item in a safe location where it won't be disturbed. Allow the cement to dry completely for at least 24 hours before handling or using the item.
