Cure for Colds
A historical remedy for coughs and colds using the 'dry system' - abstaining from liquid foods for a day or two. This is a historical health remedy and should not replace modern medical advice.
Instructions
- 1Abstain from all liquid foods including water, tea, coffee, soups, broths, and other beverages. Consume only solid foods that contain minimal moisture.
- 2If symptoms persist after the first day, continue the dry system for a second day, maintaining total abstinence from liquid foods. Perseverance is noted as key to the remedy's effectiveness.
- 3After one or two days, gradually resume normal liquid intake, starting with small amounts of water or mild beverages.
