Strawberry Sauce

A simple and delicious strawberry sauce perfect for desserts, pancakes, or ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 0.33 cup Butter (Unsalted butter recommended)
  • 0.66 cup Fresh Strawberries (Hull and slice the strawberries)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg White (From a large egg)

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, cream the butter until light and fluffy using an electric mixer or a whisk.
  2. 2Gradually add the powdered sugar to the creamed butter, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated. This prevents lumps.
  3. 3In a separate clean, dry bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form. This can be done with an electric mixer or by hand.
  4. 4Gently fold the beaten egg white into the butter and sugar mixture. Then, add the strawberries and beat until the fruit is mashed and the sauce is smooth.
