Simple Chocolate Dessert

Simple Chocolate Dessert

A basic recipe for a chocolate dessert, potentially involving fermentation or other processes related to fats and oils.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Dark Chocolate (70% cacao) (High-quality dark chocolate is recommended.)
  • 200 ml Heavy Cream (For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream.)
  • 50 grams Unsalted Butter (Adds richness and shine.)
  • 30 grams Granulated Sugar (Adjust to your preferred sweetness.)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Enhances the chocolate flavor.)
  • 1 pinch Pinch of Salt (Balances the sweetness.)

Instructions

  1. 1Chop the dark chocolate into small, even pieces. This will help it melt smoothly.
  2. 2In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, butter, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
  3. 3Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 1 minute to soften, then stir gently until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  4. 4Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5Pour the chocolate mixture into individual serving dishes or a small baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  6. 6Serve chilled. Garnish with fresh berries, whipped cream, or a dusting of cocoa powder, if desired.
