Seasoned Crackers

A simple recipe for seasoned crackers, perfect as a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve Crackers (Ritz or similar buttery crackers work well)
  • 0.33 cup Boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt (Or to taste)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground, or to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Powdered sage (Or summer savory, or marjoram)

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, combine the boiling water and butter. Stir until the butter is completely melted.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, combine the crackers, salt, pepper, and powdered sage (or summer savory, or marjoram). Toss gently to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  3. 3Pour the melted butter mixture over the seasoned crackers. Toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
