Pistachio Paste
A homemade pistachio paste perfect for flavoring desserts, pastries, and more. This recipe uses blanched pistachios, almond extract, and food coloring to create a vibrant and flavorful paste.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Marshmallow Paste (Prepared marshmallow paste)
- 0.25 teaspoon Almond Extract (A few drops)
- 0.33 cup Pistachio Nuts (Blanched and chopped)
- 2 drops Green Food Coloring (Leaf green)
Instructions
- 1If pistachios are not already blanched, blanch them by boiling them for 1 minute, then transferring them to an ice bath. Remove the skins. Chop the blanched pistachios finely.
- 2In a bowl, combine the marshmallow paste, almond extract, chopped pistachios, and green food coloring. Mix well until the color is evenly distributed.
