Pineapple Lemonade

Pineapple Lemonade

A refreshing homemade lemonade with a tropical twist of pineapple. Perfect for a hot day!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water (For the syrup)
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar (Adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup Crushed pineapple (Canned or fresh)
  • 0.5 cup Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed from about 3 lemons)
  • 3 cups Ice water (To dilute the lemonade)

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. 2Remove the syrup from the heat and stir in the crushed pineapple and lemon juice.
  3. 3Let the mixture cool completely. Strain the lemonade through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pineapple pulp (optional, but recommended for a smoother texture).
  4. 4Add ice water to the strained lemonade concentrate, adjusting to your desired sweetness and strength. Serve over ice.
