Modernized Sauce Finiste

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted butter recommended)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dijon mustard (Adds a tangy flavor)
  • 0.125 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (Adjust to taste for desired spiciness)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed is best)
  • 0.125 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground, to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Be careful not to brown it.
  2. 2Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
