Modernized Sauce Finiste
A simple and flavorful sauce, updated with modern techniques and ingredients.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted butter recommended)
- 0.5 teaspoon Dijon mustard (Adds a tangy flavor)
- 0.125 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (Adjust to taste for desired spiciness)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed is best)
- 0.125 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
- 0.125 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground, to taste)
Instructions
- 1In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Be careful not to brown it.
- 2Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
