Modern Tartar Sauce

A classic creamy sauce, perfect for seafood and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dill pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (Optional, for extra tang)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, capers, fresh dill, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. 2Stir or whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  3. 3For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
