Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.875 cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Melted butter

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease and flour a shallow 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. 2In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the melted butter.
