Modern Rich Corn Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons Baking powder
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.875 cup Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 0.25 cup Melted butter
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease and flour a shallow 8x8 inch baking pan.
- 2In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- 3In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the melted butter.
