Modern Iced Tea
A refreshing and simple iced tea recipe, updated for modern tastes and methods.
Ingredients
- 4 bags Tea bags (black, green, or herbal) (Adjust to taste)
- 4 cups Water (Filtered water recommended)
- 2 tablespoons Sugar (optional) (Or to taste; can substitute with honey or other sweeteners)
- 8 cups Ice (For serving)
- 4 slices Lemon slices (optional) (For garnish)
Instructions
- 1Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
- 2Remove from heat and add 4 tea bags. Let steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- 3Remove tea bags and stir in sugar (or other sweetener) until dissolved, if desired.
- 4Pour tea into a pitcher filled with ice. Add lemon slices for garnish, if desired. Serve immediately.
