Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Coffee grounds, medium-fine grind (Adjust to taste; about 2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water.)
  • 12 ounces Filtered water (Use good quality filtered water for best results. Water, 2, 4.)

Instructions

  1. 1Heat the filtered water to approximately 200°F (93°C). Do not boil. Use Water, 2, 4.
  2. 2Grind the coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency. Place the coffee grounds in the French press or percolator.
  3. 3Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are saturated. For a French press, let it steep for 4 minutes. For a percolator, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. 4For a French press, gently press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the coffee. Pour and serve immediately. For a percolator, remove from heat and serve.
