Mocha Frosting

A classic mocha frosting recipe, perfect for cakes and cupcakes. This recipe uses a coffee infusion to enhance the mocha flavor.

Ingredients

  • 0.33 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1.5 cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Strong Coffee Infusion (Adjust to desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy.
  2. 2Gradually add the confectioners' sugar to the creamed butter, beating continuously until well combined and smooth.
  3. 3Add the cocoa powder and coffee infusion, drop by drop, until the frosting reaches the desired consistency for spreading or piping.
  4. 4Use the mocha frosting immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes. If not using immediately, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
