Minced Mutton Curry

A simple and flavorful minced mutton curry, perfect for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Minced Mutton (Cooked)
  • 1 medium Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (Grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 medium Tomato (Pureed)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder (Adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (Chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. 2Add grated ginger and minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. 3Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are cooked down and the spices are fragrant.
  4. 4Add the cooked minced mutton to the pan and mix well with the spices. Add water and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is well coated and the gravy has thickened.
  5. 5Stir in garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot with rice or naan.
