Minced Mutton Curry
A simple and flavorful minced mutton curry, perfect for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
- 500 grams Minced Mutton (Cooked)
- 1 medium Onion (Finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Ginger (Grated)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic (Minced)
- 2 medium Tomato (Pureed)
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder (Adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
- 0.5 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (Chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- 1Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 2Add grated ginger and minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- 3Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are cooked down and the spices are fragrant.
- 4Add the cooked minced mutton to the pan and mix well with the spices. Add water and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is well coated and the gravy has thickened.
- 5Stir in garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot with rice or naan.
