Lemon Jelly
A simple and refreshing lemon jelly dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Gelatine (Granulated gelatine)
- 0.5 cup Cold water
- 1.5 cups Boiling water
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest (From one lemon)
Instructions
- 1In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatine over the cold water. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes to soften.
- 2In a saucepan, combine the boiling water and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the softened gelatine and stir until it is also completely dissolved.
- 3Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
