Lemon Jelly

A simple and refreshing lemon jelly dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Gelatine (Granulated gelatine)
  • 0.5 cup Cold water
  • 1.5 cups Boiling water
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest (From one lemon)

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatine over the cold water. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes to soften.
  2. 2In a saucepan, combine the boiling water and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the softened gelatine and stir until it is also completely dissolved.
  3. 3Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
