Jelly Omelet
A sweet omelet filled with your favorite jam, jelly, or marmalade. Perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Butter (For cooking)
- 2 tablespoons Jam, jelly, or marmalade
- 1 teaspoon Sugar (For sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and 1 tablespoon of sugar until well combined.
- 2Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges are set and the center is almost set, about 2-3 minutes. Gently lift the edges of the omelet to allow any uncooked egg to flow underneath.
- 3Spread the jam, jelly, or marmalade over one half of the omelet. Fold the other half over the filling.
- 4Turn the omelet out onto a plate. Sprinkle with sugar and serve immediately.
