Jelly Omelet

A sweet omelet filled with your favorite jam, jelly, or marmalade. Perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Butter (For cooking)
  • 2 tablespoons Jam, jelly, or marmalade
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar (For sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and 1 tablespoon of sugar until well combined.
  2. 2Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges are set and the center is almost set, about 2-3 minutes. Gently lift the edges of the omelet to allow any uncooked egg to flow underneath.
  3. 3Spread the jam, jelly, or marmalade over one half of the omelet. Fold the other half over the filling.
  4. 4Turn the omelet out onto a plate. Sprinkle with sugar and serve immediately.
