Iced Punch Bowl with Shells
A refreshing punch served in a bowl over ice, accompanied by delicate shell-shaped cookies or candies.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Lemon juice
- 0.5 cup Orange juice
- 0.5 cup Pineapple juice
- 2 cups Ginger ale (Or club soda)
- 1 large piece Ice (Or several smaller pieces)
- 0.5 cup Coconut Butter (For Shells)
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar (For Shells)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (For Shells)
Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely.
- 2In a large punch bowl, combine the cooled simple syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice.
- 3Just before serving, add ginger ale (or club soda) and the large piece of ice to the punch bowl.
- 4Cream together coconut butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and mix well. Shape the mixture into small shell shapes. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- 5Serve the punch chilled with the shell-shaped cookies or candies alongside.
