Iced Coffee Sweetened with Meringue

A refreshing iced coffee drink, sweetened with a light and airy meringue made from egg whites and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Boiling water (For brewing coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons Coffee grounds (Medium grind)
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar (For meringue)
  • 1 Egg whites (Large eggs)
  • 0.75 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Ice cubes (For serving)

Instructions

  1. 1Brew coffee using boiling water and coffee grounds. Let it steep for 4 minutes, then strain or filter to remove grounds.
  2. 2In a clean, dry bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. 3Fill a glass with ice. Pour brewed coffee over ice. Top with meringue. Serve immediately.
