Iced Coffee Sweetened with Meringue
A refreshing iced coffee drink, sweetened with a light and airy meringue made from egg whites and sugar.
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Boiling water (For brewing coffee)
- 2 tablespoons Coffee grounds (Medium grind)
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar (For meringue)
- 1 Egg whites (Large eggs)
- 0.75 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Ice cubes (For serving)
Instructions
- 1Brew coffee using boiling water and coffee grounds. Let it steep for 4 minutes, then strain or filter to remove grounds.
- 2In a clean, dry bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form. Stir in vanilla extract.
- 3Fill a glass with ice. Pour brewed coffee over ice. Top with meringue. Serve immediately.
