Hard-Boiled Egg Yolks, Finely Chopped

Finely chopped hard-boiled egg yolks, perfect as a garnish or ingredient in other dishes.

  • 2 Eggs (Large)

Instructions

  1. 1Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. 2Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool completely for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shells. Peel the shells off completely.
  4. 4Carefully separate the yolks from the whites. Discard or reserve the whites for another use. Finely chop the yolks using a sharp knife.
