Graham Muffins II

A simple recipe for graham flour muffins, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Graham flour (Or whole wheat flour)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter
  • 4 teaspoons Baking powder

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease or line a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. 2In a large bowl, whisk together the graham flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Add the melted butter and whisk until combined.
  4. 4Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  5. 5Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full.
  6. 6Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. 7Let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
