Coconut Cream Candy
A simple and sweet coconut cream candy, perfect for a homemade treat.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Butter
- 0.333 cup Shredded coconut
- 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1Put butter into a saucepan. When melted, add sugar and milk, and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- 2Heat to boiling-point, and boil for twelve minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- 3Remove from fire, add coconut and vanilla, and beat until creamy and mixture begins to sugar slightly around edge of saucepan.
- 4Pour at once into a buttered pan, cool slightly, and mark in squares.
