Classic Pumpkin Pie

A simple and delicious pumpkin pie recipe, perfect for beginners. This recipe uses readily available ingredients and provides clear instructions for a successful bake.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Pumpkin puree (Canned pumpkin puree works well)
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar (Packed)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Pie crust (9-inch, pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and heavy cream. Pour the wet ingredients into the pumpkin mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. 4Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie crust.
  5. 5Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. If the crust starts to brown too quickly, cover the edges with foil.
