Cider Jelly
A simple and refreshing cider jelly, perfect as a light dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Gelatine (About 1/2 box of powdered gelatine)
- 0.5 cup Cold Water
- 2 cups Apple Cider
- 0.25 cup Sugar (Adjust to taste)
Instructions
- 1In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatine over the cold water. Let it stand for 5 minutes to soften.
- 2In a saucepan, combine the apple cider and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
- 3Remove the cider mixture from the heat and add the softened gelatine. Stir until the gelatine is completely dissolved.
- 4Pour the cider mixture into individual serving dishes or a mold. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
