Cider Jelly

A simple and refreshing cider jelly, perfect as a light dessert or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Gelatine (About 1/2 box of powdered gelatine)
  • 0.5 cup Cold Water
  • 2 cups Apple Cider
  • 0.25 cup Sugar (Adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatine over the cold water. Let it stand for 5 minutes to soften.
  2. 2In a saucepan, combine the apple cider and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
  3. 3Remove the cider mixture from the heat and add the softened gelatine. Stir until the gelatine is completely dissolved.
  4. 4Pour the cider mixture into individual serving dishes or a mold. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
