Cayenne Cheese Eggs on Toast
A simple and flavorful breakfast or brunch dish featuring creamy eggs with a hint of cayenne pepper and melted cheese, served on buttered toast.
Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons Grated cheese (cheddar, Gruyere, or Parmesan)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- 2 slices Toast
Instructions
- 1Heat a small omelet pan over medium-low heat.
- 2Add butter to the pan and let it melt. Once melted, add the heavy cream.
- 3Carefully slip in the eggs one at a time. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- 4When the egg whites are nearly firm, sprinkle with grated cheese. Continue cooking until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
- 5Serve the eggs on buttered toast. Strain any remaining cream from the pan over the toast.
