Cayenne Cheese Eggs on Toast

A simple and flavorful breakfast or brunch dish featuring creamy eggs with a hint of cayenne pepper and melted cheese, served on buttered toast.

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons Grated cheese (cheddar, Gruyere, or Parmesan)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 2 slices Toast

Instructions

  1. 1Heat a small omelet pan over medium-low heat.
  2. 2Add butter to the pan and let it melt. Once melted, add the heavy cream.
  3. 3Carefully slip in the eggs one at a time. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. 4When the egg whites are nearly firm, sprinkle with grated cheese. Continue cooking until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  5. 5Serve the eggs on buttered toast. Strain any remaining cream from the pan over the toast.
