Brandy Cocoa

A simple and comforting cocoa beverage with a touch of brandy.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Boiling water
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 3 teaspoons Cooking brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2Gradually whisk in the boiling water until a smooth paste forms.
  3. 3Gradually stir in the milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cocoa is hot but not boiling.
  4. 4Remove from heat and stir in the cooking brandy. Serve immediately.
